What to expect
All of our services last just over an hour and are very relaxed and informal, with refreshments and time to chat before and after. There’s also a team on hand to help with anything you’re unsure of so please look out for them. The service itself mainly consist of two things: worship and preaching.
Worship. Worshipping together is something we will always prioritise on a Sunday and the way we worship is based on the descriptions we read in the New Testament. We have an amazing team of musicians to lead us in songs together, but we also make plenty of space for gifts of the Spirit to be used and different people to contribute to our worship as well - it's vibrant, exciting and full of life! Even if that's not what you're used to, we think it’s at least worth coming along to see it for yourself.
Preaching. We preach from the Bible every Sunday because we believe it's God's Word and is the best way for us to know Him and be transformed to be like Jesus. In our Sunday preaching we work through parts of Bible and see how it tells of the work of Jesus, which in turn speaks into and shapes our lives today.
Listen to our PreachingKids & Youth. We run dedicated, age-specific groups for under 18s where they get to know other kids, have fun and enjoy their own worship and teaching.
Kids & YouthKids & Youth
We love having kids and families at Grace Church. We run groups for all ages at both our morning services. Every group is led by a dedicated team who are there to make sure all our under 18s feel safe, have loads of fun and can explore faith for themselves.
Stars (ages 0 - 3)
In Stars we create space to play and learn with toys, song time and soft play. There’s also room for parents to feed their babies.
Explorers (age 3 - reception)
Our early years group includes crafts, snacks, stories, and their own worship time. We give every child the chance to start exploring what it means to be friends with Jesus.
Arrows (school years 1 - 3)
These sessions are full of fun and silly games but also lots of space for the kids to look at the Bible and learn more about who Jesus is to them.
Ignite (school years 4 - 6)
This is a place for kids to form friendships with each other and with Jesus, and learn how to read the Bible and pray, all whilst having lots of fun too.
Youth (school years 7-13)
Youth runs at both morning services. The youth usually stay in the main hall for worship, then head up for their own time of games and teaching, and then often split into older and younger youth to create space for healthy discussion.
